2. Scope <strong>of</strong> Work<br />

2.0 Scope <strong>of</strong> Work.<br />

The work stated in this specification shall cover the complete design,<br />

engineering (including supply <strong>of</strong> all calculation & settings), manufacturing,<br />

inspection, testing, supply, delivery to the site, construction, erection<br />

installation, testing, commissioning, commercial operation and service <strong>of</strong><br />

operation & maintenance <strong>for</strong> the first twenty four (24) months after<br />

satisfactory per<strong>for</strong>mance tests <strong>of</strong> Combined Cycle Generating Unit(s) with<br />

Emergency Diesel Generator, Fuel Gas Booster Compressors and<br />

associated equipment at <strong>Ghorasal</strong>, Palash, Narsingdi Bangladesh on full<br />

turnkey basis.<br />

The equipment provided shall be <strong>of</strong> proven type and design, having total<br />

net output at site condition (35 0 C, 1.013 bar, 98% relative humidity) <strong>of</strong> <strong>300</strong>-<br />

<strong>450</strong> <strong>MW</strong> consists <strong>of</strong> One (1)/ Two (2) heavy duty industrial outdoor packaged<br />

type gas turbine generator(s) (without any ancillary equipment, such<br />

as water/steam injection, evaporator, chillier etc. <strong>for</strong> increasing power output),<br />

One (1)/ Two (2) heat recovery steam generator(s) and one (1) steam<br />

turbine generator unit. <strong>Tender</strong>er can propose 2:2:1 or 1:1:1 (multishaft)<br />

configuration CCPP. Aero-derivative type gas turbine shall not be considered<br />

The <strong>Tender</strong>ers will have to Supply Main (230 KV & 15.75 KV) and Auxiliary<br />

(6.6 KV & 0.415 KV) Equipment, Materials & Systems including Supply,<br />

Installation, Testing, Commissioning <strong>of</strong> Equipment and Control system<br />

(including pre-close check systems & inter-lock systems, Protection<br />

system, Metering System etc. accordingly, based on 2:2:1 or 1:1:1<br />

configuration CCPP. <strong>Tender</strong>ers shall also fill the Price Schedule <strong>of</strong> Vol. 1 <strong>of</strong><br />

3, Annexure-3 accordingly.<br />

The work shall be carried out in accordance with the conditions <strong>of</strong> this<br />

documents, and shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following<br />

major items.<br />

2.1 COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT<br />

2.1.1 General<br />

(1) Total Net power station output (base load)<br />

At site conditions (35 0 C, 1.013 bar,<br />

98% relative humidity) : <strong>300</strong>-<strong>450</strong> <strong>MW</strong><br />

(2) Number <strong>of</strong> units<br />

a. Gas turbine unit : One(1) or Two(2) identical units<br />

b. Heat recovery steam generator : One(1) or Two(2) identical units<br />

c. Steam turbine unit : One(1)<br />

(3) Main Fuel : Natural Gas<br />

(4) Operation mode<br />

a. Gas turbine unit : Base load as well as peak<br />

load.<br />

b. Combined cycle unit : Base load.<br />
