News from the GB<br />
F-Class Association<br />
Les Holgate keeps us up to date with F Class<br />
matters and the activities of the GB F Class<br />
Association<br />
With the ‘Europeans’ taking place at the same time<br />
as the November issue of <strong>Target</strong> <strong>Shooter</strong> goes<br />
on-line, it means that my planned event report will<br />
have to be held over until the next issue. It seems<br />
crazy to say it but that will be the Christmas issue!<br />
I had planned to do a ‘What’s happening next<br />
year’ write-up for the December issue but it looks<br />
like I’ll have to swap things around so, here’s<br />
what the GB F Class League have in store for all<br />
you ‘effers’ next year.<br />
The F Class World Championships and the<br />
compete and win the 2009 World<br />
Championships. So, mission accomplished but<br />
that’s not the end of the GB F Class League,<br />
more the beginning. We now have the support,<br />
infrastructure and ranges to stage great<br />
competitions and build even stronger teams to<br />
take on the best that the rest of the world can<br />
offer. With that in mind, here’s what we have lined<br />
up for you in 2010:<br />
March (Date to be confirmed) – Training<br />
weekend at Bisley. Prior to the Worlds,<br />
several GB squad training weekends were held<br />
but other shooters have expressed an interest so<br />
it seems only fair to offer it to all. It will actually<br />
more of an introduction to F Class and will be a<br />
useful refresher or ideal for someone who has<br />

Europeans are now history and you might think<br />
you can take it easy and return to a normal<br />
life. Don’t even think about it! The GB League<br />
was originally founded to develop F Class<br />
shooting in the UK and to build a team to<br />
yet to try F Class. The full agenda is yet to<br />
be finalised but will include: wind reading, F<br />
Class rules and muzzle energy limits, plotting,<br />
reloading, basic equipment and obviously<br />
shooting! Hopefully, Diggle will also run a similar<br />
<strong>Target</strong> <strong>Shooter</strong> 87
