Pennington Council of 100<br />
<strong>Advancing</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Discoveries</strong> through <strong>Science</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Philanthropy</strong><br />
In 2007, the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation established the Pennington Council of 100 for individuals,<br />
foundations, <strong>and</strong> businesses who have made gifts of $100,000 or more <strong>and</strong> remain actively involved with the Pennington<br />
Biomedical Research Center <strong>and</strong> Foundation, or who are giving $10,000 or more to the Annual Fund for Excellence.<br />
Members attend quarterly meetings with the Center’s executive director <strong>and</strong> a featured research scientist. Many Council<br />
members serve as ambassadors <strong>and</strong> advocates on behalf of the Center <strong>and</strong> Foundation.<br />
