Jamie Beucke is in her first year as a graduate assistant for the <strong>UMKC</strong> softball<br />
program.<br />
Beucke began her collegiate playing career at the University of Missouri - St.<br />
Louis. After playing at UMSL for one year, she transferred to Nova Southeastern<br />
University, where she was recognized as a NFCA Scholar Athlete.<br />
Beucke finished her career at Saint Thomas University in Florida, seeing time in<br />
the infield and as a pitcher. She was named a Florida Sun Conference scholar<br />
athlete in both her junior and senior seasons, leading the Bobcats to a 22-14 record<br />
on the 2006 campaign. She compiled a .295 batting average, good for third<br />
on the team, with a .358 slugging percentage. She finished the year with 15 RBI,<br />
earning NAIA Scholar Athlete accolades as well.<br />
First season<br />
Saint Thomas, ‘06<br />
Beucke earned her bachelor of science degree in political science from Saint<br />
Thomas in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is currently in her second<br />
year at <strong>UMKC</strong> Law School, pursuing a concentration in family law and litigation.<br />
Shae Crowley is in her first year as a graduate assistant for the <strong>UMKC</strong> softball<br />
program.<br />
A four-year letterwinner at Benedictine, Crowley earned NAIA Scholar Athlete<br />
honors as both a junior and a senior. She was also recognized as an honorable<br />
mention all-conference in the Heart of America Conference as a junior. Her senior<br />
season, she played in 43 of Benedictine’s 45 contests, starting 40. Crowley<br />
compiled a .331 batting average, with two HR and 22 RBI on the year as Benedictine<br />
put together a 23-22 overall record. She was recognized as a second team<br />
all-conference selection at the conclusion of the season.<br />
Crowley graduated cum laude in 2007, earning a bachelor of arts degree in history.<br />
She is currently working towards her MLA degree at <strong>UMKC</strong>.<br />
