Jamie Beucke is in her first year as a graduate assistant for the UMKC softball
program.
Beucke began her collegiate playing career at the University of Missouri - St.
Louis. After playing at UMSL for one year, she transferred to Nova Southeastern
University, where she was recognized as a NFCA Scholar Athlete.
Beucke finished her career at Saint Thomas University in Florida, seeing time in
the infield and as a pitcher. She was named a Florida Sun Conference scholar
athlete in both her junior and senior seasons, leading the Bobcats to a 22-14 record
on the 2006 campaign. She compiled a .295 batting average, good for third
on the team, with a .358 slugging percentage. She finished the year with 15 RBI,
earning NAIA Scholar Athlete accolades as well.
First season
Saint Thomas, ‘06
Beucke earned her bachelor of science degree in political science from Saint
Thomas in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is currently in her second
year at UMKC Law School, pursuing a concentration in family law and litigation.
Shae Crowley is in her first year as a graduate assistant for the UMKC softball
program.
A four-year letterwinner at Benedictine, Crowley earned NAIA Scholar Athlete
honors as both a junior and a senior. She was also recognized as an honorable
mention all-conference in the Heart of America Conference as a junior. Her senior
season, she played in 43 of Benedictine’s 45 contests, starting 40. Crowley
compiled a .331 batting average, with two HR and 22 RBI on the year as Benedictine
put together a 23-22 overall record. She was recognized as a second team
all-conference selection at the conclusion of the season.
Crowley graduated cum laude in 2007, earning a bachelor of arts degree in history.
She is currently working towards her MLA degree at UMKC.
