volunteer assistantSarah Dieterle<br />
Sarah Dieterle is in her first year as a volunteer assistant for the <strong>UMKC</strong> softball program.<br />
Although she did not play softball collegiately, Dieterle is no stranger to the Kansas City<br />
softball scene. She was a four-year letterwinner at Pembroke Hill, serving as team captain<br />
for the 1999 season. She was recognized as a second team all-conference selection as<br />
both a junior and senior.<br />
Dieterle earned her bachelor of arts degree from Wellesley College in classical civilization<br />
in 2002 and has completed coursework for a Master of Arts degree in classical archaeology<br />
from the University of Cincinnati.<br />
student managerJaci Schuyler<br />
After finishing her collegiate career at <strong>UMKC</strong>, Jaci Schuyler continues with the program as<br />
a student manager.<br />
In 2007, Schuyler recorded the eighth-best single-season batting average in <strong>UMKC</strong> history<br />
at .345, swatting six home runs - second only to teammate Ashley Toft for the singleseason<br />
record at <strong>UMKC</strong>. She also collected a .554 slugging percentage on the year. She<br />
joined the Kangaroos after stints at Missouri and Butler County Community College.<br />
Schuyler is completing coursework in the pre-dental program at <strong>UMKC</strong>.<br />
