SAFETY PRACTICES AND MEASURES UNDERTAKEN<br />
For safe and smooth functi<strong>on</strong>ing <strong>of</strong> ropeway, various safety measures such<br />
as-Planned & scheduled, maintenance, test & inspecti<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>by</str<strong>on</strong>g> internal and<br />
external teams, ISO & Technical Audits, Rescue Drills and schedule training<br />
<strong>of</strong> employees.<br />
The maintenance <strong>of</strong> plants is carried out as per various planned<br />
maintenance schedules:-<br />
DAILY: Thorough checking <strong>of</strong> Ropeway operati<strong>on</strong> before opening for<br />
customers.<br />
WEEKLY: Checking <strong>of</strong> wire-rope ,cabins ,various adjustments.<br />
FORYNIGHTLY: Engine inspecti<strong>on</strong> ,Bearings checking, Parameters<br />
m<strong>on</strong>itoring.<br />
QUARTELY: Greasing <strong>of</strong> Sheaves, Bearing and Carriages.<br />
HALF-YEARLY: Planned shutdown ,corrective acti<strong>on</strong>s <strong>on</strong> various<br />
observati<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
ANNUALY: Planned shutdown ,Overhauling <strong>of</strong> different assemblies,<br />
corrective acti<strong>on</strong>s <strong>of</strong> various observati<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
TESTS AND INSPECTIONS:<br />
NON DESTRUCTIVE TEST- Ultras<strong>on</strong>ic and magnetic testing <strong>of</strong> all critical<br />
parts.<br />
RADIOGRAPY TETS- Radiography <strong>of</strong> Haulage Rope.<br />
WEAR DEBRIS ANALYSIS(WDA)-Lubricant analysis for bearing and<br />
machines.
