Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of people who, through shared experience, strength and hope,<br />
are recovering from the disease of eating compulsively. The only requirement for membership is<br />
the desire <strong>to</strong> s<strong>to</strong>p eating compulsively. OA is a 12-step group based on the twelve steps of Alcoholics<br />
Anonymous. We change only the words “alcoholic” and “alcoholic” <strong>to</strong> “food” and “compulsive eating”.<br />
There is a monthly Newcomers Meeting held the last Saturday of every month from 7:00 <strong>to</strong> 7:30 p.m.<br />
at the Easter Seals Building 5757 SW Macadam Portland.<br />
