Creighton Livestock Market - <strong>Gelbvieh</strong> <strong>In</strong>fluence <strong>Sale</strong><br />

Creighton Livestock Market was the place to be January<br />
15th to see several strings of high quality <strong>Gelbvieh</strong> and<br />
Balancer calves. The number of calves in the sale was down<br />
from previous years due to the intense pressure of the corn<br />
market however the quality of the calves was excellent. The<br />
bidding was very active and the good long strings of<br />
<strong>Gelbvieh</strong> influenced calves sold very well. All the consigners<br />
to the sale were very satisfied at the demand for the calves<br />
and the prices that were bid. One consigner brought his<br />
calves in from South Dakota for the sale. Most of the<br />
<strong>Gelbvieh</strong> influenced calves were at or near the top of prices<br />
bid for those weight cattle. Thanks to all those who brought<br />
their cattle in and good luck to the buyers! We know you<br />
bought the right kind and we hope to see everyone next<br />
year.<br />
