his rise to power as a silverback, through turbulent<br />

a missing au pair or a secret love affair is the key<br />

medieval town of Oudewater, discovers the history<br />
of the tulip in Leiden.<br />
10:00 Survival: Lives in the Balance<br />
“The Plant That Cures Malaria (Uganda)” Too late<br />
to save his daughter, who died from contracting<br />
malaria, Clovis learns that the Artemisia plant can<br />
be cultivated on his farm in Uganda. A chemical<br />
extracted from Artemisia is the main ingredient<br />
of a drug that can cure malaria in the early stages<br />
of the disease. Clovis organizes other farmers into<br />
a cooperative to grow the plant only to run into a<br />
new company policy that may stand in the way of<br />
their efforts.<br />
