2012-141 AUTHORIZE THE FINANCE & MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR TO
ADJUST THE FY2011 ALLOCATION TO BROOKHAVEN, ADJUST THE
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ALLOWANCE AND EXECUTE A LOAN
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,325,000 PAYABLE ON A TEN (10)
YEAR AMORTIZATION SCHEDULE AT AN INTEREST RATE EQUAL TO
PRIME
WM 12/03-41 The Ways and Means Committee recommends, moved by Collins,
seconded by Cross, to authorize the Finance & Management Services
Director to adjust the FY2011 allocation to Brookhaven, adjust the accounts
receivable allowance and execute a loan agreement in the amount of
$2,325,000 payable on a ten (10) year amortization schedule at an interest
rate equal to prime.
Discussion followed. Commissioner Jager shared his concerns about
transparency.
2012-142 MOVED BY JAGER, SECONDED BY LONGMIRE, THAT THE BOARD
SEND ITEM WM12/03/41 BACK TO THE WAYS AND MEANS
COMMITTEE DURING AN OPEN MEETING FOR PROPER DISCUSSION
AND A COMPLETE AUDIT TO THE COMMISSIONERS.
