7. Remove the sediment cup by turning it counterclockwise. 8. Clean the sediment cup, O-ring, and filter in nonflammable or high flash point solvent. 9. SPARK ARRESTER MAINTENANCE If the generator has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Allow it to cool before proceeding. The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to maintain its efficiency. 1. Remove the four 6 mm cap nuts, and remove the rear cover. 2.
