6. Remove the three 5 mm bolts, and remove the exhaust tail pipe and
the spark arrester.

7. Use a brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrester
screen.
8. Inspect the screen for breaks or tears and replace it if necessary.
9. Install the spark arrester and the exhaust tail pipe in the reverse
order of removal.
