Information and Descriptive Material<br />
Bidder must furnish all information requested. In addition, in the space provided on the bid, vendors shall<br />
supply at least one (1) complete set of drawings, descriptive literature and complete specifications covering<br />
the products offered. A complete set of specifications detailing the construction materials, methods, etc. for<br />
this specific ambulance must be included in this bid.<br />
This specification must be in the order of this bid document. Bids not meeting this requirement will be<br />
rejected.<br />

The Purchaser recognizes Ford Motor Company’s Qualified Vehicle Modifiers (QVM) accreditation. Therefore,<br />
regardless of chassis specifications the primary manufacturer must include with this proposal their current<br />
QVM certification. The QVM certificate supplied with this proposal must be dated within eighteen (18)<br />
months of the bid due date. Because of the quality control requirements of the Ford QVM certification this<br />
applies whether the chassis is a Ford or if it is from another manufacturer.<br />
The primary manufacturer shall also submit proof that it is a ‘member in good standing’ with the Ambulance<br />
Manufacturers Division (AMD) of the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA).<br />

The Purchaser seeks the highest level of value for the cost. To assure the Purchaser is receiving such value the<br />
primary manufacturer must submit evidence of compliance with KKK-A-1822F testing. The testing is to be<br />
performed by an independent testing facility and verified by person(s) with the standing of Professional<br />
Engineer (P.Eng.).<br />

Prices and Payments<br />
All bid prices shall be complete and include warranty and delivery of the completed vehicle to the Purchaser.<br />
Payment shall be made in accordance with these specifications and the Bid Proposal submitted by the Bidder.<br />
Payment will be made upon acceptance of the vehicle(s) and equipment specified under these specifications.<br />
