<strong>BST</strong> 14i2 Bus applications and transmission of analog and digital dimming signals Application example General Connectors for KNX applications have a unique mechanical coding which is visually defined by the color green. The mechanical coding “Code 2” is specially intended for the transmission of both analog and digital dimming signals. Mechanical coding means that only associated pairs of male and female connectors can be connected; correct polarity is ensured. You therefore have the security of a clear segregation of different applications, at the same time preventing any incorrect connections. The color of the connectors indicates the relevant links. If only one code differentiation is sufficient or required, you can choose between two color combinations within a coding. These connectors are then mutually compatible.
