Cert II Ag camp<br />
19 students are involved in a series of training camps in<br />
September, October and December.<br />
Please ensure that transport contributions are paid<br />
prior to camp. All other costs are covered by the<br />
subject levy.<br />
YEAR 9/10 OUTDOOR EDUCATION CAMP<br />
Wednesday 24 October to Friday 26 October<br />
The 3 day character building camp is based at Noosa.<br />
Students will engage in surfing, surf skills, and team<br />
building activities. The camp aims are to provide<br />
challenging outdoor recreational activities, new skills<br />
and a venue for criteria based assessment.<br />
Sure sounds like a lot of fun and great memories!<br />
SENIOR COLLEGE News<br />
Applications for the Australian Defence Force Academy<br />
(ADFA) are now open for entry in January 2014. Year 11<br />
and 12 students, now is the time to get applications<br />
in. There are many careers available in the Navy, Army<br />
and Air Force through ADFA where students will receive a<br />
fully funded degree in Engineering, Arts, Science, Business<br />
or Technology and receive a salary while they learn.<br />
Year 11 students can also apply for the ADFA Education<br />
Award. Successful applicants will receive a laptop<br />
computer and the school will receive a framed plaque in<br />
recognition of their student's achievement.<br />

started and it all sounds a bit confusing? So much to think<br />
about and you want to be sure you have made the right<br />
choices. This session is aimed at Year 12 students who<br />
have received their OP and need to make a change of<br />
preference on their QTAC Application. Whether it’s a<br />
pathway program or the degree of your dreams, our<br />
Change Of Preferences Evening can provide you with some<br />
great advice to get you an offer for University in 2013.<br />
Don’t forget to bring your LUI or QTAC registration<br />
number if you would like us to help you out on the night.<br />

JANUARY 21‐24 INCLUSIVE 9AM – 12NOON<br />

This intensive 4 day workshop is aimed at students<br />
entering Year 11 Maths B or Year 12 Maths B in 2013 and<br />
will take place the week before students go back to school.<br />
Designed to review the basic skills necessary to succeed in<br />
Maths B, the course is self‐paced with students given a<br />
series of booklets to work through and on completion will<br />
