Y’s MEN SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAM<br />

Our weekly day camp places an emphasis on fun, group games, art & crafts,<br />

sports, tours, swimming, and a weekly trip to various beaches etc. Each week<br />

our camp has a different theme.<br />

Our hours <strong>of</strong> operations are 7:30AM- 5:30PM Monday to Friday. We <strong>of</strong>fer a<br />

pizza day and a hot dog day.<br />

Registration fee is $50 ($25 <strong>of</strong> this fee goes toward the first week fees). Cost per<br />

week is $110 or $23 per day. We are located at the Sherwood Rec Hall (ONLY)<br />

during the summer.<br />

Y’s MEN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM<br />

Daily programming is done at six locations (West Royalty, Westwood, West<br />

Kent, Spring Park, Sherwood, and Glen Stewart) with many indoor and outdoor<br />

activities. The children have many activities to choose from on a daily basis. As<br />

well some centres <strong>of</strong>fer morning programs.<br />

Registration: The registration fee is $30 per person and $35 per family. A<br />

program fee is also charged.<br />

Time:<br />

Monday – Friday 2:00PM until 6:00PM and mornings run<br />

7:30 – 8:30 AM.<br />

Daily snacks are provided. As well we are open all "storm days" and PD Days.<br />

FOOTBALL<br />

PRIVATEERS FOOTBALL CLUB<br />

The club <strong>of</strong>fers tackle football at senior (adult) and youth levels. Youth levels<br />

include Varsity at ages 16 – 18 and Bantam at ages 13 – 15.<br />

FUNDING SUPPORT<br />

KIDSPORT PEI - SO ALL KIDS CAN PLAY! (A program <strong>of</strong> Sport PEI)<br />

The KidSport Fund is a program to help financially disadvantaged families<br />

receive funding to participate in sports.<br />

CANADIAN TIRE JUMPSTART<br />

Canadian Tire JumpStart is a charitable program created by the Canadian Tire<br />

Jumpstart Charities, to help kids in need from 4 – 18 years old. This program is<br />

national in scope but local in its focus, Canadian Tire JumpStart helps kids in<br />

need to participate by providing funds to help <strong>of</strong>fset the cost <strong>of</strong> registration fees<br />

and equipment. The PEI Local Chapter is made up <strong>of</strong> community leaders from<br />

KidSport PEI, Recreation PEI, and Canadian Tire Associate Dealers.<br />
