PERSONAL ESCAPE <strong>ROPE</strong><br />
Personal escape rope is the foundation of a personal escape system. PMI has numerous<br />
rope choices for emergency egress. Our newest entry is an all para-aramid Technora ®<br />
fiber 7.5 mm NFPA 1983 certified escape line we call PMI PER Element. An excellent<br />
choice for those looking for the strongest escape line in the smallest diameter NFPA allows<br />
along with a high maximum operating temperature rating. For those wanting an<br />
escape rope with excellent impact absorbing abilities and a slightly lower operating<br />
temperature, we suggest our 7.5 mm PMI PER all nylon rope. For maximum strength<br />
and longer service life, try our 9 mm PMI PER also of all nylon construction. All of PMI’s<br />
escape ropes are third party certified by UL to NFPA 1983 as escape ropes.<br />
PMI PER<br />
Firefighters and rescuers who need to “bail out” of deadly situations rely on PER. Compact and lightweight,<br />
this line is more than strong enough for the job. It also features an energy-absorbing core to<br />
reduce the inevitable shock load during first loading.<br />

PMI ELEMENT<br />
When working in fire and extreme heat conditions, the new PMI PER Element with Technora TM is the perfect<br />
rope. It is an excellent companion for the PMI PED escape descender. Features a blue polyester heat<br />
indicator, and a 32 carrier braid for the perfect grip. Technora TM decomposes at 900 deg (500° C).<br />
