A DAY IN THE LIFE..........
PMI ropes and equipment are built and independently certified to applicable national and internationally recognized standards, and as added confidence
our own quality assurance program is registered to ISO 9001 Quality Registration. Our in house laboratory is built to the same specifications as
independent laboratories, and works twice as hard.
Although we have the tools to meet the standards in house, all the real research and development begins in the field. Customers and employees who use
PMI gear provide the foundation for our product development. Our rope and gear become practical solutions, not just the current fad.
For you and your customers, we offer several resources of interest. To find out more or get involved in the standards and organizations that not only keep
the gear you use safe, but most importantly, keep people safe, check out the list below.
PMI is actively involved in all of the committees and professional organizations listed below. We do stay busy, but quality is all in the details. Each resource
helps bring a safer PMI rope or piece of gear to the person using it. Plus the best bonus of all, each committee and organization gives back to
the community of rescuers and climbers and we couldn’t be more proud of that - not only as a manufacturer but as users too.
A day in the life of a PMI rope can be challenging, but commitment to excellence is always our goal. If you ever have any questions regarding PMI rope,
gear, standards, technical questions or inputs, please feel free to contact us anytime.
