plan is in place.

in the IDP.

Agree on the land to be utilised
Approve land for development
Produce an approved layout
plans for the identified area
To provide an approved SG diagram
To register the township and
beneficiaries
Categorise the communities according
to their housing needs
and income levels, in order to
provide for them accordingly.
Ensure that you obtain well
located land for the different levels
of the communities.
Ensure that the land belongs to
the municipality.
Engage planners to prepare layout
plans and lodge the layout plans to
the land use board. After approval
Surveys must be made and lodged
with the surveyor general
Apply for funding
Provincial Department
National Department of Human Settlements
Receive the Business plan and
forward it to the National Department
for funding.
Make approval of the Township
submission.
On approval of the funds .It has
to ensure that the supply chain
processes are followed and the
contractor is introduced to the
municipality
