Explanation of Symbols 

Many of our seats fit other equipment 

applications in addition to construction/ 

industrial equipment. You’ll see one or 

more of the symbols below next to each 

seat indicating the application for the seat. 

Please note, the provided bolt patterns are 

the most accurate means of determining a 

seat’s fit for your equipment.

Accurately Measure For Bolt Pattern 

Ensure a proper fit with these 3 easy steps. 

1. Mark the holes that are used to mount your seat. Many 

seats have multiple bolt patterns so it is important you 

measure the correct holes. 

2. Measure the width (side to side) bolt pattern first. With 

your seat upside down, center the start of your tape 

measure on the center of the first hole. Measure to 

the center of the next hole. Take the measurement to the 

nearest 1/16 of an inch. Repeat the width measurement 

for all bolt patterns as some seats have multiple bolt 

patterns of bolt patterns with different widths. 

TIP: It is sometimes helpful to place the center of the 1, 2 or 3 inch mark 

of your tape measure on the center of the hole as your starting point. 

This allows the tape to lay flat on the seat bottom and provides you 

with a more accurate measurement. Just remember to subtract that 

number from your final measurment if you do this. See example (right). 

3. Measure the length (front to back) pattern next. Repeat 

the same procedure as step two. Again, be sure to check 

all bolt hole patterns. Occasionally, the back two holes 

may not be in line with the front two holes. If this is the 

case, draw a line and measure from the front hole straight 

back. DO NOT measure diagonally.
