Bloggers Honored –– Roberta Fallon and
Libby Rosof, artists and writers who created the
internationally acclaimed Artblog, received
honorary Doctorates of Fine Arts from Moore at
Commencement 2008. This may be another first
for Moore, as the two become perhaps the first
bloggers to be awarded honorary degrees in the
US. Founded in 2003, Artblog grew out of
Fallon and Rosof’s 18-year collaboration as artists
and gallery-goers. With over 55,000 hits a month
from all over the world, Artblog was named one of
the top five art blogs by Art in America (2007).
