Eleanor Schimmel ’84 was featured in
the Gallery at the Westtown School in
Eleanor Schimmel: In Peril during March and
April, an exhibition of encaustic paintings
exploring the fragile majesty of nature in
uncertain times.
Chrystal Moll ’84 has work at Artists
and Framers in Federal Hill, Baltimore, an
ongoing collaboration.
Michele Feder ’86 had a piece of her
work purchased by The La Grange Art
Museum for its collection. A woodblock and
small painting in oil were exhibited in Root
Division: Under 100 exhibition in June. Funds
from sales go to the Root Division
Community.
Diane Grimes ’82, Intertwine, oil painting, 18 x 24 inches
Jill Kerwick ’78 had an exhibtion in
July 2008 at The Paint Place in Asbury
Park, NJ, and in August exhibited three
collages at Blank Studios Gallery in
Brighton, England.
Judy Weber ’79 designs jewelry for
Diana Vincent and has recently become a
registered jeweler, a distinction held by a
small number of jewelers in this country.
Nina Zucker ’79 was honored by the
Philadelphia Public Relations Association
as the 2008 Hall of Fame recipient in May
2008. President of Nina Zucker Associates,
Nina was recognized for her high-quality
public relations work and her advocacy for
major cultural initiatives across the region.
Doreen (Dori) Seitz Baggs ’80
was featured in an article in the December
2007 issue of byFaith magazine for her
work during the past ten years teaching
crafts, incorporating a spiritual dimension,
to girls in her Philadelphia church. Baggs
also teaches art to homeschoolers and has
recently begun to sell her own crafts.
Dressler Smith ’80 has works that can
be viewed for purchase in the restaurant at
the Philadelphia Museum of Art with the
artwork of fellow African American
Humbert Howard. Dressler’s work can
be also viewed at Artworks Gallery in the
Philadelphia Museum of Art throughout
the year.

Memories in the MFA Book Arts / Printmaking
Thesis Exhibition in the Rosenwald-Wolf
Gallery at The University of the Arts from
April 14 through May 2, 2008.
Diane Grimes ’82 exhibited her
Sunflower series in the 25th Silver
Anniversary Art Show at Immaculata
University in February 2008. In March
2008, she led a group of Immaculata
students on a tour of Greece, the Greek
Islands and Turkey. Students received three
course credits for the tour. Grimes is chair of
the Art Department at Immaculata.
Marianne McCarthy Maree ’84
exhibited at the Vale Arts 12th Annual Spring
Art Show and Sale, May 2 to 4, 2008 at the
Historic Vale School House in Oakton, VA.
Loretta Tryon ’87 exhibited her
jewelry in two exhibitions this summer:
Art of the State: Pennsylvania 2008, a juried
exhibition at the State Museum of
Pennsylvania and at The Baum School in
Allentown, PA.
Lana Heckendorn ’88 exhibited work
at the Manayunk Arts Festival in June.
Dana Roes ’88 has gone on to get her
Masters in painting from the University
of Pennsylvania. She won a New Jersey
Council on the Arts award and a Fulbright
Fellowship. She has been invited to attend
the Skowhegan School of Painting and
Sculpture. Roes is currently represented
by Larry Siroli Fine Art in NYC.
