Key <strong>Department</strong> Staff<br />
Craig Predieri, Chief Legal Counsel<br />
Craig Predieri joined the <strong>Department</strong> in February 2004 and served as Assistant Chief <strong>of</strong> the Legal Division<br />
before his recent promotion to Chief Legal Counsel. He advises the Director and key staff on all legal<br />
matters pertaining to the <strong>Department</strong>. Predieri’s previous experience includes being an Associate at<br />
Thompson Hine, LLP in Columbus, as well as a Senior Underwriting Team Leader at <strong>State</strong> Farm <strong>Insurance</strong><br />
Company and a Licensed <strong>Insurance</strong> Agent at Prudential <strong>Insurance</strong>.<br />
Carly Glick, Communications Assistant Director<br />
Carly Glick, who joined the <strong>Department</strong> as Public Liaison in March 2007, was named Assistant Director<br />
<strong>of</strong> Communications in September 2007. Glick has more than a decade <strong>of</strong> experience in media relations<br />
and communications in both the public and private sectors. She previously served as the Director <strong>of</strong><br />
Communications at eTech <strong>Ohio</strong>, where she led the state agency’s media and public relations efforts.<br />
Prior to joining the <strong>State</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Ohio</strong> in 1999, Glick worked as an Associate Producer at WSYX-TV and as an<br />
Overnight Anchor and Assignment Editor at WBNS -10TV in Columbus.<br />
Eric James, Information and Technology Assistant Director<br />
Eric James joined the <strong>Department</strong> in October 2007 as an Executive Project Manager and was soon<br />
elevated to Assistant Director <strong>of</strong> Information and Technology. Before joining the <strong>Department</strong>, Eric worked<br />
at the <strong>Ohio</strong> <strong>Department</strong> <strong>of</strong> Education (ODE) as Assistant Chief Information Officer. During his tenure at<br />
ODE he developed recommendations and strategies for technology priorities and oversaw projects while<br />
working closely with outside customers and stakeholders. Eric graduated from the Fisher College <strong>of</strong><br />
Business at The <strong>Ohio</strong> <strong>State</strong> University with a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration, majoring in<br />
Information Systems.<br />
