Nature Park by water and see how this<br />
amazing wetland ecosystem functions.<br />
Participants are required to paddle the<br />
entire distance <strong>of</strong> 4 miles. Trip begins and<br />
ends at Enatai Beach Park. Some paddling<br />
experience is required. Up to 3 people per<br />
canoe. Please dress for the weather. For<br />
ages 5+. Children and youth must have at<br />
least 1 adult present for every 2 children or<br />

GARDENS<br />
Preserved within the <strong>Bellevue</strong> Park System<br />
is over fifty acres <strong>of</strong> productive farmland,<br />
demonstration gardens, and historic farm<br />
buildings. Rich peat soils have provided<br />
growers with abundant crops for over<br />
100 years. Today, these farms and gardens<br />
continue to provide visitors the opportunity<br />
to purchase and pick fresh produce,<br />
learn about sound gardening practices, and<br />
experience <strong>Bellevue</strong>’s agricultural heritage.<br />

2012 COMMUNITY GARDEN<br />
P-Patch InformationThe <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Bellevue</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong>fers P-Patch garden plots to the community<br />
at two locations: The Lake Hills<br />
Greenbelt Ranger Station and Crossroads<br />
Park. Each plot measures approximately<br />
400 square feet and water is supplied on<br />
site. Returning gardeners apply in January.<br />

for more information and to be added to<br />
our mailing list. Seasonal and year-round<br />
