FARM TOURS FOR SCHOOLS AND GROUPS<br />
Experience the farm with a tour designed<br />
specially for groups. Four different tours<br />
available. Each focuses on a particular<br />
theme ranging from pioneer life in the<br />
1880s to springtime on the farm. Tour<br />
themes vary by season, as described below.<br />
Most tours appropriate for children<br />
ages 2 and up. Tours are available weekdays<br />
and are approximately one hour<br />
in length. $85 for 15 or fewer people<br />
(children & adults). Additional attendees:<br />
$5.50 per child & $2.50 per adult.<br />

Kids on the Farm Group Tour<br />
Available December to April and June to<br />
September<br />
Explore our farm – hands on fun as you<br />
meet our goats, pig, sheep, rabbits, chickens<br />
and ponies. Learn interesting animal<br />
facts then move inside to experience the<br />
old-fashioned skill <strong>of</strong> wool carding. Children<br />
create fuzzy sheep to take home.<br />
Springtime in the Barnyard Group Tour<br />
Available mid-April through May<br />
Welcome springtime with a tour <strong>of</strong> our<br />
animals, which may include chicks, goat<br />
kids, and a calf. Learn about their special<br />
care then finish up in the garden planting<br />
pumpkin seeds.<br />
Fall at the Farm Group Tour<br />
Available October only<br />
Experience harvest season in a traditional<br />
way. Visit a pony and pig, feed<br />
the chickens and work on barn “chores”<br />
with child-sized pails and rakes. Tour the<br />
garden and pumpkin patch. Children finish<br />
up by choosing a pumpkin from our<br />
harvest-themed indoor pumpkin patch!<br />
Extra fee for pumpkins.<br />
Pioneer Days Group Tour<br />
Available November only<br />
Visit our log cabin and imagine life in the<br />
1880’s. Children participate in activity<br />
stations learning to grind wheat and c<strong>of</strong>fee,<br />
churn butter, hammer nails, pump<br />
water, and play dress-up, plus more living<br />
history activities. Storytelling about pioneer<br />
life with Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little<br />
House books helps children compare<br />
their life based on electricity and modern<br />
conveniences with the life <strong>of</strong> Laura and<br />
Mary. Ages 3 and up.<br />

The <strong>Bellevue</strong> Youth Theatre is dedicated<br />
to providing opportunities for all young<br />
people in the theatre, ages 8-19, or children<br />
under 8 with a parent or guardian present<br />
at all times. Persons with disabilities,<br />
families and older adults are encouraged to<br />
participate. The focus <strong>of</strong> the theatre is to<br />
build self-esteem, teamwork and confidence<br />
while performing in a supportive<br />
environment. Children under 12 and first<br />
time participants can expect smaller roles<br />

Pre-registration is not allowed. YOU<br />
MUST AUDITION TO BE IN OUR<br />
PROGRAM. There is no need to prepare<br />
anything for the audition. Participants 18<br />
and older are required to have a current<br />
Washington State Patrol background check<br />
on file at the theatre. These are good for<br />
one year.<br />

at the <strong>Bellevue</strong> Youth Theatre<br />
ALICE IN WONDERLAND<br />
Pick your time and enjoy this delightful<br />
tale with all the characters from the book.<br />
There will be two casts <strong>of</strong> Alice in Wonderland.<br />
One cast will rehearse 3:30 to 5:30<br />
p.m., the other from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.<br />
If you are gone for more than two weeks<br />
during the rehearsal process, please get permission<br />
to audition. You cannot audition<br />
if you are gone any part <strong>of</strong> the week <strong>of</strong> the<br />
show performances and will be dropped if<br />
conflicts come up.<br />

awareness as well as basic ballet vocabulary<br />
in a supportive encouraging environment.<br />

Children will develop better coordination,<br />
grace and self-confidence as they learn the<br />
beginning movements <strong>of</strong> ballet in a supportive<br />
encouraging environment. During<br />
this class students will build strength at the<br />
barre and center floor while learning foundational<br />
movements <strong>of</strong> ballet. Each class<br />
will end with the opportunity for students<br />
to show their own creativity as they express<br />
themselves through their favorite dance<br />
