<strong>Travel</strong> + <strong>Leisure</strong>’s “World’s Best Family Hotels & Cruises” <strong>List</strong><br />

LOST PINES, TX (October 2010) -- <strong>Hyatt</strong> <strong>Regency</strong> <strong>Lost</strong> <strong>Pines</strong> Resort and Spa has been<br />

ranked #18 in the top 50 list for the U.S. and Canada in the recently published <strong>Travel</strong> + <strong>Leisure</strong><br />

magazine’s 2010 list of the “World’s Top Family Hotels and Cruises.” The family-friendly resort<br />

located between Austin and Bastrop is one of only four Texas properties that were selected for<br />

inclusion on this prestigious list. Of the Texas properties that were chosen, <strong>Hyatt</strong> <strong>Regency</strong> <strong>Lost</strong><br />

<strong>Pines</strong> claimed the top spot and is the only one from the Central Texas region.<br />

<strong>Hyatt</strong> <strong>Regency</strong> <strong>Lost</strong> <strong>Pines</strong> claims a beautiful and secluded location on the banks of the Colora-<br />

do River that appeals to families who find the property naturally conducive to exploration, dis-<br />

covery and learning. The resort has integrated local and regional history, flora and fauna educa-<br />

tion, astronomy and even domesticated livestock into its programming. Stargazing on the driv-<br />

sions. The resort’s mascots, Julius and Caesar (two Percheron draft horses) and their side-<br />

kicks, T-Bone and RibEye (two and a half year old longhorn steers) are among the resort’s most<br />

popular attractions. Julius and Caesar provide guests with a tour of the property via a giant red<br />

wagon while T-Bone and RibEye entertain guests through meet and greets throughout the<br />

resort. The longhorns have been saddle-broken and will gladly allow guests to sit on their backs<br />
