By Lt. Jonathan Crane
As you may know a Sergeant was
killed in line of duty in St. Lucie today conducting
a traffic stop. Friends within that
agency reached out and they are hoping
we could assist with a collection as he has
two young children. I have been in contact
with Lt. Sheagren and Lt. Patrick Major
who said they would assist. Checks or
money can be brought to any of the three
jails and we will bring the collection to St.
Lucie’s point of contact.
Lt. (retired) Ronnie Roberts was honored at
a luncheon this week. He is retiring from the
agency after 32 years of service. Good luck,
and happy retirement, Ronnie!
Sheriff Rick Ramsay, participating in the Key Colony Beach
Days parade this past week.
