Employee of the Year Ceremony<br />

The Sheriff’s <strong>Office</strong> honored it’s Employees of<br />

the Year (top right) on <strong>February</strong> 8th in a ceremony<br />

held in Marathon. Left to right, Sheriff Rick Ramsay,<br />

Lee Ann Holroyd met recently with employees of the Grace<br />

Jones Daycare in Marathon to work with them on security<br />

enhancements and crime prevention at the facility.<br />

FWC Lt. Bobby Dube attended the Upper Keys weekly Cadet meeting, speaking to the group about<br />

his agency, it’s mission and the requirements for being an officer with FWC.<br />

Long time employee Sgt. Ronnie Roberts was<br />

promoted to Lieutenant this week prior to his<br />

retirement. We will miss you, Ronnie!<br />

Deputy Syd Whitehouse attended and<br />

participated in a Chili Cook-off in Palm Beach<br />

<strong>County</strong>. He was on a team with two Martin<br />

<strong>County</strong> deputies and they came in second<br />

place.<br />
