Federal and State Grant revenues are awarded to the <strong>City</strong> by various federal and state government agencies. The <strong>City</strong>'s overall goal is<br />

to pursue grants that enhance the quality <strong>of</strong> <strong>City</strong> services and reduce the <strong>City</strong>'s financial burden. Efforts to increase funding from the<br />

State are continuing.<br />

Beginning in 2005, State Pension Aid is shown as a revenue. Prior to 2005, State Pension Aid was budgeted as an <strong>of</strong>fset to the <strong>City</strong>'s<br />

entire pension expenditure.<br />
