GreenList Louisville ~ Volume 1: Issue 4
Are we coming or going? Are we having fun yet? Yes! GreenList Louisville is going
high-tech and low-tech and it’s all good!
First let me tell you about our new, improved website that can still be found at
www.greenlistlouisville.com. Six months after launching our unassuming little
publication/website, we’ve made it even easier for the cyber crowd to see and be
seen. Along with gorgeous graphics, we’re featuring a searchable Directory with
customer profiles and direct links. We’ve added an updateable and searchable
Calendar loaded with events. You can now register your business or organization
online. Display ads are highly visible with direct links. And we are offering a highquality,
low-cost website setup service through GreenList. Our magical webmaster
at Blackbird 502 can set you up in 48 hours with a beautiful site. (See details
at www.greenlistlouisville.com)
And while we’re sending all this info through cyberspace, we’re sending our
dependable print issue to most Metro distribution sites by bicycle. Keep an eye
out and you’ll see Green Orbit Pedalers’ bright green and yellow bike and trailer
delivering stacks of GreenList in the most green possible manner!
Summer’s full on and we hope you’ll find a shady spot and enjoy our Features
section. “Urban places are set within natural places,” Olmstead of parks fame said.
We have several wonderful takes on tapping into those natural places. We also
have a call to arms to make your voice heard as Congress debates the future of
our planet. Also, we’ve continued to add new businesses, services and organizations
as we’ve come across them. About 100 new ones this issue. There are more
out there, so we’ll keep looking.
As always, please support our advertisers. They continue to fund our effort to
make Sustainable Louisville visible. Be sure to let them know you found them
in GreenList
