issue, a special “show cachet” will be available.
To obtain the show cachet, send self-addressed
envelopes to the address below, affixed with
UN/New York stamps only (UN/Geneva and
UN/Vienna stamps are not acceptable). The
envelopes will be imprinted with the requested
show cachet and returned through normal
mail channels. Requests for the show cachets
should be postmarked no later than indicated.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION –
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
UN STAMPS USED FOR MAILING
United Nations stamps in United States denominations
are valid for postage only if mailed at United
Nations Headquarters in New York. Stamps in
Swiss franc denominations are valid for postage
only if mailed at the Palais des Nations, Geneva,
Switzerland. Stamps in euro denominations are
valid for postage only if mailed at the Vienna
International Centre, Austria.
PRICE
Stamps are sold at face value. UN/Geneva and UN/
Vienna stamps are sold at US equivalent rates,
rounded up to the nearest cent. The US equivalents
of the euro and Swiss franc denomination stamps
are subject to fluctuating exchange rates.
ORDERS
All orders are filled subject to stock availability.
Where specific orders cannot be filled in their
entirety, the balance of the customer’s remittance
will be credited to his/her account.
SALES AND EXCHANGES
Every effort is made to provide UNPA customers
with material of the highest philatelic quality.
Therefore, all sales are final and no exchange or
refund will be made except if stamps are received
in damaged condition.
CONDITIONS
The UNPA reserves the right to limit quantities on
individual orders at all times and to withhold the
official UN cancellation from any material that is
deemed inappropriate.
MARGINAL INSCRIPTIONS (M.I.)
The marginal inscription normally consists of the
United Nations emblem and an appropriate text, in
four positions on each sheet. A block with marginal
inscription can be obtained only with a minimum
order of 4 stamps of Commemorative, Definitive or
Airmail issues, irrespective of face value
Kindly indicate preferred M.I. positions, based on
the above regulations, in the Description column
on the order form:

before requesting a duplicate corner block within the

POSTAGE AND HANDLING CHARGES
At this time, there is a $3.00 postage and handling
charge applied to all regular orders and every-issue
standing orders. A $6.00 postage and handling
charge is applied to some annual and semi-annual
standing orders. All orders valued $100.00 and
over will be sent by registered mail.

OPEN A CUSTOMER DEPOSIT ACCOUNT

Collect United Nations stamps the easy way by
opening a Customer Deposit Account (CDA) today.
When you open a CDA, you will receive all your
stamps and other philatelic items automatically.
Your order will receive priority processing and will
be shipped shortly after each new-issue date, or
you may choose to have your orders shipped semiannually
or at the end of each year. All of your
orders can be automatically charged to your credit
card account. Each order will be accompanied by
a statement of account, which will indicate either
(a) the current balance in your account or (b) the
amount you owe to UNPA for the stamps supplied.
You may change your standing order or withdraw
from the CDA service at any time. Should you
decide to close your account, your credit balance
will be refunded.
Past issues which are still on sale or any other
items not covered by your CDA standing order can
be ordered at any time and charged to your CDA
account.
