Definition<br />
In<strong>for</strong>mation management is the collection, storage, dissemination, archiving and appropriate destruction of<br />
project in<strong>for</strong>mation. In<strong>for</strong>mation reporting takes in<strong>for</strong>mation and presents it in an appropriate <strong>for</strong>mat which<br />
includes the <strong>for</strong>mal communication of project in<strong>for</strong>mation to stakeholders.<br />

Plans the in<strong>for</strong>mation management system <strong>for</strong> the project and agrees it with<br />
stakeholders, ensuring all of their in<strong>for</strong>mation needs are met.<br />

Ensures compliance with the organisation’s data and in<strong>for</strong>mation policies and any<br />
regulatory requirements.<br />
3 Implements the project in<strong>for</strong>mation management and reporting system.<br />
4<br />
Implements procedures <strong>for</strong> processing documents, including incoming and<br />
outgoing in<strong>for</strong>mation, filing and archiving.<br />
5 Audits the use of the project in<strong>for</strong>mation management and reporting system.<br />
6 Communicates the project in<strong>for</strong>mation to stakeholders.<br />

limited complexity.<br />
Level D: Has the knowledge required and may execute some of the indicators in supporting a<br />
project manager and/or project team.<br />
