writer, said in a review of "Hot Stuff" that it
"may be the funniest picture to come to
Jacksonville this summer." Dom DeLuise,
Jerry Reed, Suzanne Pleshetle, and Luis
Avalon star as detectives who set up a fencing
operation to aid a burglary task force in
Miami. Says Franklin, "The plan the detectives
use to round up the criminals is so funny
it doesn't matter that it's impossible." This film
is Dom DeLuise 's directing debut, and he has
taken advantage of the sight gags he does so
ports.' As long as they are successful no one
will je wanting to call it quits."
player as a business commodity . . . It's a fine
film, tough and cynical but at the same time
entertaining, a rare combination." Nick Nolte
Bulls, and singer Mac Davis is their "wise-old
bird" quarterback. This is Davis' first movie,
