<strong>EZ</strong> I/O <strong>Controller</strong>s<br />
Overview<br />
<strong>EZ</strong> I/O controllers provide eight supervised alarm inputs and<br />
four change-over relay outputs. A tamper input is also included<br />
for the panel enclosure.<br />

IP I/O controllers employ their own IP address and connect<br />
directly to the <strong>SAT</strong>EON PC network via an IP switch. No other<br />
connection is required in order to work with <strong>SAT</strong>EON.<br />
PoE Plus is supported by including a Grosvenor Technology<br />
PoE splitter which includes individual fuses for battery overload<br />
and battery charging circuits.<br />
There is no limit to the number of IP controllers that can connect<br />
to a <strong>SAT</strong>EON system.<br />
<strong>EZ</strong> I/O <strong>Controller</strong>s – (RS485)<br />
<strong>EZ</strong> RS485 I/O controllers can be connected in-line with up to<br />
thirty-two controller nodes to form a <strong>SAT</strong>EON ‘Comms Line’.<br />
<strong>EZ</strong> RS485 controllers are interconnected via a 2-wire Comms<br />
Line (2-wire plus braid), and connect to the <strong>SAT</strong>EON PC<br />
network via an IP Line Header.<br />
There is no limit to the number of RS485 Comms Lines that can<br />
be connected to a <strong>SAT</strong>EON system.<br />
Power Supply and Enclosures<br />
<strong>EZ</strong> controllers install into a Grosvenor Technology enclosure<br />
or other equivalent of your choice. The Grosvenor enclosure<br />
includes an integral 2.5A PSU of which 2A is available for<br />
peripherals.<br />

to 100 hours after battery exhaustion.<br />
