CHRISTMAS CARD ART CONTEST<br />
The Knights of Columbus New Jersey State<br />
Council is sponsoring a Christmas card art<br />
contest! The grand winner of the contest will have his or<br />
her drawing used as the cover of the official New Jersey<br />
State Council 2010 Christmas card. All drawings must be<br />
on an 8x11 sheet of white paper and in color. Drawings<br />
must reflect the theme of “Keeping Christ in Christmas.”<br />
Girls and boys in grades 1-8 are eligible to enter. There<br />
will be a winner selected from each grade level, as well as<br />
a grand winner selected by the New Jersey State Deputy<br />
from the winning entries of each grade level. The grand<br />
winner will receive a certificate and a $200 savings bond.<br />

ESSAY CONTEST<br />
The New Jersey Council Knights of Columbus<br />
Essay Contest is open to all NJ students<br />
presently enrolled in grades 7-12. 2010 Topic:<br />
What patriotism means to me. Essays must be typed<br />
double-spaced or written legibly in ink and should be<br />
limited to not more than 500 words. Essays should be<br />
submitted by October 31. Each Council will select a<br />
winning essay for each grade level and forward those<br />
essays to the State Chairman. New Jersey State Council<br />
winners will be selected in December for each grade<br />
level. The State Council winners will each receive a $500<br />
savings bond and certificate of recognition. For more<br />
