Holy Angels Parish will host a Parish Carnival on
May 31 to June 4 at the St. Matthew School
Grounds. Save the dates and come join us for a

The next sessions of the Spring Scripture
study will take place on Tuesdays, March
29, April 5, 12 and then return to Wednesday on April

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTION
“Jesus said to her, ‘Give me a drink.’” (John 4:7b)
How often through our lives does Jesus ask us to
give Him a drink Remember that Jesus lives in every
person who is physically hungry and thirsty and also in all
those who thirst for compassion, love or care. Mother
Teresa was motivated in her work in Calcutta by two of
Our Lord’s last words as He hung on the cross. “I thirst” –
John 19:28 Sometimes it may be difficult for us to give
the drink that Jesus asks from us. Yet, can we really
refuse him our Stewardship by not sharing our time,
talent or treasure to relieve Our Lord’s thirst in this world

SPRING MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
Holy Angels Parish Performing Arts Program
will present a Spring Musical, "Winnie the
Pooh" on April 7th and 8th at 7pm and

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministry is
looking for adult volunteers to work with
leadership to run the Vacation Bible School for the
children.
The Vacation Bible School will be held July 25 – 29,
Monday to Friday at 9am–12 noon. The program
services children ages 4 through grade six.
The deadline for signing up for this ministry is Sunday,
April 24. Even if you can volunteer for only a day or so,
you can be worked into the schedule. If interested,

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES COLLECTION
Next week, our parish will take up The
Catholic Relief Services Collection. This
Collection supports six Catholic agencies
benefiting millions of vulnerable, displaced,
and impoverished families and individuals
around the world. From direct humanitarian service to
helping victims of human trafficking and working to reunify
families, the funds from this Collection make a real
difference in lives across the globe. How will you help
Next week, please support The Catholic Relief Services
Collection and Jesus in disguise.
YOUTH NEWS
Live Station Practice will be held Sunday
evenings from 7pm-8pm in the Holy Angels
Worship Center, March 27, April 3, and April
10. No experience needed. All youth are
welcome. Come and be a part of this wonderful
celebration!
The Junior Youth Ministry will be performing Live Stations
of the Cross Palm Sunday at 7pm following the 6pm
mass in the Holy Angels Worship Center.
The 6pm Youth Sunday Mass is looking for youth
volunteers to be a part of the mass. If you would like to
read, usher, sing or play an instrument we need you.

a.m. until noon. Please place toys and shoes in separate
bags. No boxed items please! Items may be dropped off
in front of the school gym.

CROP WALK
The annual CROP Walk to raise money for the
food needs of Africa will take place May
22. This event is supported by the Greater
Woodbury Cooperative Ministries. Twenty five
percent (25%) of all money collected will stay
in our area to help our food Pantry.
The event consists of a walk on Sunday afternoon from
Mantua Methodist Church in Mantua to St. Stephen’s
Lutheran Church in Woodbury. Participants are asked to
get sponsors and/or make a contribution. The concept
comes from the fact that in many African villages, families
have to walk a significant distance every day simply to
carry water to their homes. Obviously the monies
collected are used to improve food and water supplies for
people in Africa.
The CROP Walk gives us a chance to work for a social
justice issue, and in the process get some healthy
exercise. If you are interested in participating in the

HISPANIC FAMILY CENTER
The Hispanic Family Center has opened an
office in Woodbury to serve the residents of
Gloucester County. We have offered the
Low Income Energy Assistance Program
(LIHEAP) since November 2009. We can file an
application electronically to the State and determine if a
household is eligible to receive a credit on their utilities.
There is no cost to parishioners as we administer this
program on behalf of the State of New Jersey for
Gloucester County residents

HELPING HANDS
Helping Hands of the Greater Woodbury
Cooperative Ministry (GWCM) will have their
service day on Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 AM.
Volunteers from the eight churches in
Woodbury perform services for the elderly or
disabled, such as raking leaves, trimming bushes,
cleaning gutters, cleaning windows, and minor repairs.
The group meets the second Saturday of the month at the
Presbyterian Church kitchen at 8:30 AM. Work is finished
by noon. If you have persons who can use this service,
or if you would like to volunteer, please call Jerry or Jean
Washko at 845-6944. If you are interested or if you have
persons who need this help, call now so preparations can
