Deployable across the board
With its extensive product range VDL Klima boasts a firm foothold across various market
sectors. We can include numerous Original Equipment Manufacturers among our clientele. As
such our box cooler, Shell & Tube and axial fans are deployed by the shipping and maritime
industries across the globe. In addition to which, the air/water cooler is used to cool the
Azipod, for example. Aside from the air/water cooler, the air/air cooler is often deployed
within the electromechanical market, within the energy generation and conversion segment in
particular. Axial fans aid the drying process of potatoes, onions and flower bulbs for example
within the agricultural sector. VDL Klima supplies various bespoke heat exchangers for the
industrial sector. As engineering and realisation are so closely interlinked, VDL Klima can offer
innovative, customer-specific and comprehensive manufacturing solutions, including to the
semi-conductor and renewable energy industries; for example, wind farms, solar power, etc.

Advanced product facilities
Reliability is the core concept at VDL
Klima. To guarantee it our experienced,
well-trained staff in Eindhoven and Achel
work in fully equipped workshops. These
house state-of-the-art laser equipment,
CNC drilling equipment, sheet-metal
working machines, automatic bending
machines and pipe expanders. We are
entrusted with a plethora of materials
that include: C-Steel, stainless steel,
copper/nickel alloys, titanium, aluminium,
copper/copper alloys, polyester and
polyurethane.
Quality assurance

VDL Klima is part of VDL Groep, an international company with more than 7,500 employees,
spread over 81 subsidiaries in 18 countries. The strength of the cooperation within VDL Groep
offers added assurance in terms of continuity to customers and suppliers of VDL Klima alike.
VDL Klima operates in the finished products division. This division comprises suspension
systems for the automotive industry, heating, cooling and air-technical systems, systems for
the oil, production automation systems, gas and petrochemical industry, systems for the
agricultural sector, sunbeds, roof boxes, container handling equipment, cigar-making and
packaging machines, components for bulkhandling and dust extraction installations and

The other divisions are subcontracting and buses & coaches. In subcontracting, VDL specialises
in metalworking, mechatronic systems and system supply, plastics processing and surface
treatment. The bus & coach division includes chassis & chassis modules, coaches, public
transport buses, mini & midi buses, special projects and second-hand buses.
