• Culinary—<strong>Delhi</strong>’s Culinary Team<br />
captured a gold medal at the American<br />
Culinary Federation national<br />
championship and Thomas Recinella,<br />
team coach and assistant professor,<br />
was named Educator of the Year by<br />
the American Culinary Federation.<br />
• <strong>SUNY</strong>—Chancellor’s Awards for<br />
Excellence went to students Jason<br />
Goldberg, Aaron Moriarty, and Isaac<br />
Pratt, and to Associate Professor Lynn<br />
Domina, Associate Professor Robert<br />
Seibert and EOP Director Michele<br />
DeFreece.<br />
• Scholars—Nine area high school<br />
students, with a cumulative high<br />
school grade point average of 91.7,<br />
were named Presidential Scholars for<br />
Fall 2003. This new academic honors<br />
program offers full tuition scholarships<br />
and special honors courses to<br />
students from Delaware and Otsego<br />
Counties with strong academic<br />
backgrounds.<br />

• New Program—State Education<br />
Department (SED) and <strong>SUNY</strong> approved<br />
a baccalaureate program in Veterinary<br />
Technology Management, which will<br />
debut in Fall 2004.<br />
• Hotel Laboratory—Marriott<br />
International completely renovated its<br />
campus hotel suite, which is used as<br />
a learning laboratory for students and<br />
as a guest room for visiting<br />
dignitaries.<br />

Enrollment has grown from 1,893<br />
students in 1997 to more than 2,300<br />
today. During this era, the college has<br />
