Letter from the Chair
The answer, again, is “It’s up to you.” As our organization becomes more robust, more professional,
and seeks ways to remain relevant in a technologically evolutionary if not revolutionary time, it’s important to
take stock of where we are and where we want to go. To that end, I invite each of you to a lively “Town Hall”
style discussion to be held on Sunday, June 22 in Tilley 102 Auditorium. Bring your ideas, your thoughts, your
dreams....and let’s see where this will go!
Even if you choose not to attend the Town Hall meeting (though we hope you will), we encourage
you to make the most of your Symposium experience, and to continue to find ways to participate, either by
becoming an active member of our ResNet community, or by taking it up a notch and joining our Program
Committee or finding ways to get involved with the ResNet Applied Research Group or Steering Committee
when opportunities arise. And last, but not least, while you are busy adopting a few new “Canadianisms” into
your vocabulary, we hope that you will take the time to thank our hosts for making the 15 th annual ResNet an
absolutely unforgettable experience. Have a fantastic ResNet 2008!
