O. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Menden to approve the Three-Year
Contract with Spring for the installation of wireless access points at the Government Center, Judicial Center,
and Law Enforcement Center. Motion carried unanimously.
P. On the recommendation of the County Administrator, Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by
Commissioner Menden, to approve the payroll processing of personnel actions indicated below and certified by
the Employee Relations Director and the Appointing Authority to be in compliance with provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 375.56 - 375.71 and the Scott County Merit Personnel System:
1. Separation of employment for Robert Nead, FT Senior Applications Analyst, Services Division, effective
02/07/11.
2. Separation of employment for Amanda Adamek, PT (60% FTE) Legal Assistant, Attorney’s Office,
effective 01/27/11.
3. Separation of employment for Audrey Lahr, FT Corrections Officer, Sheriff’s Office, effective 02/01/11.
4. Separation of employment for Nicole Phelps, FT Corrections Officer, Sheriff’s Office, effective 01/18/11.

Q. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Menden to authorize the County
Administrator to continue the Agreement between Scott County and Madden Galanter Hansen, LLP, for
continuing labor consulting services effective January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011. Motion carried
unanimously.
R. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Menden to adopt Resolution No. 2011-
010; Amending the Leaves of Absence Policy. A copy of the Resolution is made a part of this record by
reference and is available in the office of the County Administrator. Motion carried unanimously.
S. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Menden to approve and renew the
Intergovernmental Agreement with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to provide work release, detention services,
and electronic home monitoring for Bureau of Prisons inmates, effective February 1, 2011 to January 31, 2014.
