adopted by the Senate on July 17, 2004 on page 1, line 9 change<br />
"eleven" to "eight"<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 2<br />
In Senate Committee Amendment No. 6 proposed by the Senate<br />
Commerce, Consumer Protection, and International Affairs<br />
Committee and adopted by the Senate on June 17, 2004 on page 1,<br />
line 17 after “group” change “will” to “shall” and on line 18 after<br />
“groups” change “will” to “shall”<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 3<br />
In Senate Committee Amendment No. 9, proposed by the Senate<br />
Commerce, Consumer Protection, and International Affairs<br />
Committee and adopted by the Senate on June 17, 2004 on page 2,<br />
delete lines 3 through 6 and insert the following:<br />
“Notwithstanding any prohibition contained in Part II of<br />
Chapter 15 of Title 42 of the <strong>Louisiana</strong> Revised Statutes of 1950, the<br />
pilot fee commission members and alternates appointed pursuant to<br />
Paragraphs (B)(1) and (2) shall be eligible to serve on the pilot fee<br />
commission and participate in transactions before the commission.”<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 4<br />

AMENDMENT NO. 5<br />
In Senate Committee Amendment No. 16, proposed by the Senate<br />
Commerce, Consumer Prot ection, and International Affairs<br />
Committee and adopted by the Senate on June 17, 2004 on page 3, at<br />
the end of line 41 insert the following: "In the event the commission<br />
determines that a party does not have a substantial interest, such<br />
decision shall be final as to that party and that party shall have a right<br />
to appeal the decision in the same manner as provided for in this<br />
Subsection."<br />

line 48 change “administrative” to “commission”<br />
AMENDMENT NO. 9<br />
In Senate Committee Amendment No. 25, proposed by the Senate<br />
Commerce, Consumer Protection, and Internat ional Affairs<br />
Committee and adopted by the Senate on June 17, 2004 on page 5,<br />
delete lines 32 through 35 and insert the following: “Notwithstanding<br />
any prohibition contained in Part II of Chapter 15 of Title 42 of the<br />
<strong>Louisiana</strong> Revised Statutes of 1950, the commission members<br />
pursuant to Paragraphs (1) through (6) of this Subsection shall be<br />
eligible to serve on the commission and participate in transactions<br />
before the commission.”<br />
On motion of Senator Hollis, the amendments were adopted.<br />
