STUDENT COUNCIL-MIDDLE SCHOOL<br />
Purpose:<br />
To serve as the student government and perform<br />
community service<br />
Membership: Grades 7-8<br />
Member expectations: Attend meetings, communicate information and<br />
concerns, and create run, and participate in activities<br />
Meeting dates/location: Monthly meetings in the middle school<br />

Society, and volunteer for a day at a soup kitchen<br />

The Junior State of America is recognized as the<br />
nation’s largest student-run, nonpartisan, political<br />
organization. JSA brings together students who are<br />
interested in current events and politics, and<br />
empowers them through active, responsible decisionmaking<br />
Membership: <strong>Student</strong>s in grades 9-12<br />
Member expectations: All aspects of JSA are organized by students<br />

Previous activities: Potential events may include mock trials, model<br />
UN/Congress, debates<br />

JAZZ BAND<br />

To learn and perform jazz music<br />

Grades 9-12 for students who are active members of<br />
the Symphonic band (24 members)<br />

in the Band Room<br />
Previous activities: Competitions at Delaware Valley, <strong>Warren</strong> Hills,<br />
and the Home Show at <strong>North</strong> <strong>Warren</strong><br />
