Grades 8-12 for students enrolled in agriculture To gain responsibility and leadership through participation in agricultural education activities Once a month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in High School Room 18. Other activities meet after school throughout the year Warren County Farmer’s Fair, Back to School nights, SADD, safe trick or treat, Barnyard Days, state/national conventions and conferences, competitions Jennifeur Wilson FRIENDS OF RACHEL CLUB This unique program provides the opportunity for North Warren Regional to partner with Rachel’s Challenge to continue the chain reaction of kindness and compassion in our school and community. The main goal of the FOR Program is to help create a permanent cultural change in our school. They are also expected to help with finance projects and general support of other members. Students will design layouts, write copy, take pictures, organize material, enter data into computer (using page marker), and meet all deadlines INTERACT Purpose: To perform community service activities Membership: Grades 9-12 Member expectations: Attendance—the more meetings you come to, the more trips you can attend Previous activities: Work in soup kitchens, going to nursing homes, fund raisers for various organizations Advisor: Amanda Abbiate Meeting dates/location: Previous activities: Advisor: Bi-weekly meetings on Thursdays in yearbook office (additional days near deadlines) Yearbook planning and design meeting at Rutgers Field trip to summer cover art workshop Becky Erd
STUDENT COUNCIL-MIDDLE SCHOOL Purpose: To serve as the student government and perform community service Membership: Grades 7-8 Member expectations: Attend meetings, communicate information and concerns, and create run, and participate in activities Meeting dates/location: Monthly meetings in the middle school Previous activities: Advisor: To introduce and improve on skills necessary to par- Purpose: ticipate Dodgeball tournament, participation in ―Safe Trickor-Treat‖, Thanksgiving food-drive, stuffed animal and book drive for children in the hospital, carnation sales, animal shelter donation drive, spirit week activities to donate proceeds to the American Cancer Society, and volunteer for a day at a soup kitchen Dee Shober WINTER GUARD Membership: Students in grades 7-11 Member expectations: Members meet each Wednesday evening during Janu- Meeting dates/location: ary- Advisor: in the guard during the fall marching band season.
