PATRIOT PRESS<br />
Purpose:<br />
To engage students in journalistic writing with a focus<br />
on local (school and community), national, and world<br />
news, sports, entertainment, and opinions.<br />
Membership:<br />
Any student in grades 9-12 is welcome to join.<br />
Member expectations: <strong>Student</strong>s will be expected to partake in one or all of<br />
these activities: write articles, conduct interviews,<br />
attend meetings, take pictures, create paper layout,<br />
and solicit advertisers. Staff members may attend<br />
newspaper workshops if available.<br />
Meetings dates/locations: Every Tuesday at 7:20am in the library. (Times/days<br />
are subject to change once a staff is formed).<br />
