Behind a combined 34 points and 19 rebounds from the senior frontcourt tandem of Mike Muscala and Joe Willman, the Bison earned an NCAA Tournament berth for the second time in three years and the sixth time overall. Muscala recorded his national-best 22nd double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, Willman logged <strong>14</strong> points and eight boards, and junior Ben Brackney keyed a critical effort from the Bison bench with eight points. Muscala earned Patriot League Tournament MVP honors for the second time, and he joined Willman and Cameron Ayers (nine points, six rebounds) on the All-Tournament Team. Joe Willman scored a career-high 20 points on 10 of 16 shooting and Mike Muscala added nine points and 10 rebounds as <strong>Bucknell</strong> finished its 2012-13 campaign with a 28-6 record, setting the <strong>Bucknell</strong> and PL marks for wins in a season. Muscala helped carry the team down the stretch, recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds in the second half, and in the final 3:30 he got to the free-throw line on three consecutive possessions, hitting 5 of 6, to stretch a two-point lead up to seven. Ayers was also brilliant in the second half.
