<strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> Musical<br />

Last weekend <strong>Ward</strong> students entertained record<br />
crowds with their performances of Disney’s “<strong>High</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong> Musical.”<br />
With interesting set designs and lively choreography,<br />
students danced and sang the story of two high<br />
school students from fictitious East <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>. From<br />
rival cliques, basketball star Troy (Luke Conchola) and<br />
transfer student Gabriella (Hannah Baughman) inadvertently<br />
divide the school when they try out for the school<br />
musical.<br />
Other lead roles included sassy Drama Club<br />
President, Sharpay ( Brenna Roderick) and her brother Ryan (Giovanni Pilato); Troy’s best<br />
friend Chad (Richard Cassidy); scholastic decathlon captain Taylor (Anna Powell); drama<br />
teacher, Ms. Darbus (Lizzy Breitenstein); and basketball Coach Bolton (Julio Caro).<br />
The crew and cast worked hard under the direction of Ms. Lipovitz to provide an impressive<br />
production for students, families, and friends of <strong>Bishop</strong> <strong>Ward</strong>.
