This publication seeks to provide the Indian business and investor
community with an overview of the technological capabilities in Croatia’s
small and medium scale enterprises. Many of these Croatian companies
have technologies that may be of interest and relevance to India. The
advantage of engaging with these Croatian companies would be for Indian
business entities to have a presence in a country which is soon to be a
member of the EU, have existing clients in the region and have free trade
access to the Balkans and the European Union. Various forms of
collaboration including technology transfer, technical collaboration,
mergers and acquisitions can be considered for the mutual benefit of both
the Indian and Croatian partners.
