Dear Collectors, This edition of the Facination marks the 20 th anniversary of our highly popular Endangered Species series. To celebrate the occasion, we asked the renowned Scientific Illustrator Diana Marques of Portugal to provide stunning images for our anniversary celebration. Her illustrations make you feel as though you can reach out and touch the animals. LETTER FROM THE CHIEF We also added three of the most popular endangered animals featured over the past two decades. A giant panda, a regal Siberian tiger and a beautiful snow leopard are highlighted each on one of our three sheets. It’s great to have them back on UNPA stamps again. I hope you enjoy the splendour of these magnificent creatures. I also ask that you keep in mind the reason why we include them in our programme of issues. It’s important to recognize the preservation of all species so that future generations can continue to experience their beauty and presence as invaluable and irreplaceable resources. I’ll be anxious to hear what you think of this year’s edition of the Endangered Species series, as well as our April Autism Awareness stamps. We are so pleased to highlight the talents of artists with Autism from around the world. I hope you find their images and personal stories as inspirational as we did.
