The <strong>Sacramento</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> <strong>Region</strong> of <strong>the</strong> Porsche Club of America has 605 regular members, 476 affiliate & Family members 8 are dual members<br />
for a total of 1,089.<br />
If you have been reading <strong>the</strong> board minutes you noticed that SVR has gone back to a one year new members recognition. Our new members group<br />
chairs Dan Rowland and Lee Deter have scheduled 4 new members ga<strong>the</strong>rings this year. 2 will be focused on our monthly breakfast meetings<br />
and one will be a social and <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r will be a tour open to all members with focus on new members.<br />
Since we use email for most of our communications it is necessary for all of us to keep our email current with SVR and PCA. So please go to pca.<br />
org and login to your membership record and make any updates as needed. Also even though we get <strong>the</strong> information from PCA monthly you<br />
can send <strong>the</strong> same information to membership@svr.pca.org and I will update our data base so you will continue to stay connected. By now each<br />
of you should have received <strong>the</strong> new SVR membership directory in <strong>the</strong> mail. Please contact me if you did not receive your copy.<br />

The search is on! In anticipation of SVR’s 50th anniversary party at <strong>the</strong> end of August, <strong>the</strong> search for our charter members is underway. Using <strong>the</strong> list put<br />
toge<strong>the</strong>r and updated by our region’s “un-official official” historian, Larry Wilson, I have been able to locate or account for twelve of <strong>the</strong> thirty-five charter<br />
members. Included in <strong>the</strong> “found” category are Read Buckman, Ken Fielding, Brad Hawkes, Denis Keith, Herbert Louie, John Meunier, Gary Ogg, and Robert<br />
Shimada.<br />
However, <strong>the</strong>re are still many charter members that have not been accounted for. We want to locate and invite as many charter members as we can find, and<br />
need your help in locating <strong>the</strong>se folks. Listed below are charter members that we still need to locate. If you have any information about <strong>the</strong>se “lost” charter<br />
