Coming to Texas:<br />
Formula 1 United States Grand Prix<br />
November 16-18, <strong>2012</strong><br />
Hill Country <strong>Region</strong> will be hosting a special program for PCA Members at <strong>the</strong><br />
inaugural Formula 1 United States Grand Prix TM at Circuit of <strong>the</strong> Americas on<br />
November 16-18, <strong>2012</strong> in Austin, Texas. The Circuit of <strong>the</strong> Americas TM (“COTA”) is a<br />
world class, 3.4 mile racetrack consisting of 20 turns and is rated as a Grade 1 road<br />
course.<br />
Special PCA member 3 day passes for select reserved seats in Turn 12 Grandstand* ($399/<br />
$499) can be purchased from June 7 to <strong>July</strong> 8 through www.pca.org. Look for <strong>the</strong> USGP<br />
ticket offer link. General public 3 day passes go on sale in <strong>July</strong> which include:<br />
• General admission, no seating ($159)<br />
• Grandstand seating, Turns 2-5 ($299)<br />
• Grandstand seating, Turn 11 ($249)<br />
* Turn 12 has <strong>the</strong> best non-PSL seats at COTA. Due to an overwhelming response to this area of<br />
seating, COTA is asking us to release some of our area, so purchase ASAP to keep <strong>the</strong> area PCA’s!<br />
Bus transportation is included in all ticket prices. Parking is limited and not included in ticket<br />
pricing.<br />
In conjunction with <strong>the</strong> USGP, Hill Country <strong>Region</strong> will be hosting <strong>the</strong> “Hill Country <strong>Region</strong> PCA<br />
Corral” at <strong>the</strong> world famous Salt Lick BBQ Restaurant Pavilion on Saturday November 17<br />
starting after <strong>the</strong> track practice (3-4:00 pm). Tickets are $70 per person (limit 1000 people).<br />
Bus transportation will be available to <strong>the</strong> Salt Lick from COTA and several pick up points<br />
around Austin with return trips. Included are:<br />
• A four meat (with sides) BBQ meal and dessert<br />
• BBQ pit tour and BBQ tips from <strong>the</strong> “Pit-master”<br />
• USGP perspective by “Quick” Vic Elford<br />
• Live entertainment<br />
• New Porsche models on display – courtesy of Texas Porsche Dealers<br />
• Raffles<br />
• Free parking at <strong>the</strong> corral<br />
• Cash bar<br />
Pre-paid ordering of co-branded shirts, hats and windshield stickers will be available. Orders<br />
will be shipped prior to <strong>the</strong> event or picked up at <strong>the</strong> Salt Lick BBQ site. Merchandise will also<br />
be available in limited quantities at <strong>the</strong> Salt Lick.<br />

Hill Country <strong>Region</strong> is requesting PCA Members interested<br />
in this event and o<strong>the</strong>r potential events at COTA including<br />
future USGP, potential ALMS or Rolex GT races, or<br />
participating in DEs or club races at COTA to take this<br />

HCR, Zone 5, and PCA National in fur<strong>the</strong>r planning and<br />
