Coming to Texas:
Formula 1 United States Grand Prix
November 16-18, 2012
Hill Country Region will be hosting a special program for PCA Members at the
inaugural Formula 1 United States Grand Prix TM at Circuit of the Americas on
November 16-18, 2012 in Austin, Texas. The Circuit of the Americas TM (“COTA”) is a
world class, 3.4 mile racetrack consisting of 20 turns and is rated as a Grade 1 road
course.
Special PCA member 3 day passes for select reserved seats in Turn 12 Grandstand* ($399/
$499) can be purchased from June 7 to July 8 through www.pca.org. Look for the USGP
ticket offer link. General public 3 day passes go on sale in July which include:
• General admission, no seating ($159)
• Grandstand seating, Turns 2-5 ($299)
• Grandstand seating, Turn 11 ($249)
* Turn 12 has the best non-PSL seats at COTA. Due to an overwhelming response to this area of
seating, COTA is asking us to release some of our area, so purchase ASAP to keep the area PCA’s!
Bus transportation is included in all ticket prices. Parking is limited and not included in ticket
pricing.
In conjunction with the USGP, Hill Country Region will be hosting the “Hill Country Region PCA
Corral” at the world famous Salt Lick BBQ Restaurant Pavilion on Saturday November 17
starting after the track practice (3-4:00 pm). Tickets are $70 per person (limit 1000 people).
Bus transportation will be available to the Salt Lick from COTA and several pick up points
around Austin with return trips. Included are:
• A four meat (with sides) BBQ meal and dessert
• BBQ pit tour and BBQ tips from the “Pit-master”
• USGP perspective by “Quick” Vic Elford
• Live entertainment
• New Porsche models on display – courtesy of Texas Porsche Dealers
• Raffles
• Free parking at the corral
• Cash bar
Pre-paid ordering of co-branded shirts, hats and windshield stickers will be available. Orders
will be shipped prior to the event or picked up at the Salt Lick BBQ site. Merchandise will also
be available in limited quantities at the Salt Lick.

It is suggested that air transportation and lodging be scheduled ASAP due to availability.
Hill Country Region is requesting PCA Members interested
in this event and other potential events at COTA including
future USGP, potential ALMS or Rolex GT races, or
participating in DEs or club races at COTA to take this
