Company volunteering<br />
In <strong>2009</strong>, <strong>Ostrava</strong> <strong>Zoo</strong> became involved in the company volunteering scheme in cooperation with Forum<br />
darcu (a Czech philanthropic organisation). A total of 119 employees of various companies were assisting the<br />
zoo namely with cleaning and gardening work throughout the year.<br />
To conclude, the authors wish to thank every colleague, who significantly contributed to organising and<br />
performing all events. Also, they wish to thank the group of volunteers, as the most of the events would be<br />
impossible without their gratuitous help.<br />
